Alex Bannon

Alex Bannon is currently a senior machine learning engineering manager at Personio helping to build new HR products for small and mid-size companies in the US and Europe. Prior to that, he has worked in the technical space at various organizations including Spotify, where he worked on their machine learning platform to better classify and categorize user generated content, Kaplan, Betterment, and Quadpay. He has a background in philosophy and politics, starting his career on Capitol Hill with a passion for health and education policy. Alex is excited to bring the mixture of technical and policy backgrounds, along with passion for environmental research, to Knology's board and help however he can to drive its mission for a better world forward.
