Diederik Timmer

Diederik Timmer joined the Knology Board in 2024. He has held various senior executive positions in sustainable investing. Before starting his boutique sustainable investment consultancy, &values, he was the Managing Director of Corporate and Climate Solutions at Morningstar Sustainalytics. In this role, he led a division that provided Second Party Opinions (SPO), ESG Rating licenses, and Pre-IPO Ratings to corporations. Diederik also established a groundbreaking climate research division within Morningstar. Prior to Morningstar's acquisition of Sustainalytics, Diederik served as Executive Vice President & Managing Director, a role in which he developed and implemented a commercial strategy that drove high year-over-year revenue growth. In addition to his corporate roles, Diederik chairs the Board of Directors at US SIF and US SIF Foundation, the industry association of sustainable investors in the United States. He is known for his expertise in climate, impact, ESG data, and sustainable investment.
