Joseph de la Torre Dwyer

Joseph is a political scientist whose research focuses on equality of opportunity, especially with respect to labor market policies. Using economic modeling and analysis, he has studied municipal minimum wages, Federal Wage-Study, and federal basic income. In addition, he has undertaken policy research and created policy audit systems for the City of New York. As leader of Knology’s Systems research, Joseph is currently interested in understanding how to improve people’s well-being through increasing individuals’ control over economic outcomes as well as the distribution of knowledge.
