Julia is a founding member of the board. She currently serves as Executive Director, Development for the Hispanic Information & Telecommunications Network (HITN), the largest non-profit education network serving the Hispanic audience in the USA. She has over 20 years of experience in television, media, fundraising / partnership development and conservation. As its Executive Producer and Director of Foundation and Corporate Relations, she worked with INFORM Inc. to develop new platforms for cultural learning in the emerging web and hand-held mediasphere. She has also served as Director and Vice President / New Programming for National Geographic Television & Film and as Vice President and Executive Producer for Television and Media at the Wildlife Conservation Society.
