Kashif Akhter

Kashif joined the board in 2018. As the Assistant Director of Business Development at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, he worked with the firm's leadership on strategic initiatives and business development activities across the globe. His background is in strategy and business development and he has held positions in corporate development groups at leading global energy, manufacturing, and media companies. In addition to his service on Knology’s board, Kashif serves on the boards of several nonprofits, including Soho Rep., a celebrated New York City theater company recognized for its inventive and bold productions. He is also an Advisory Board Member of The Board Match of New York, which raises awareness about nonprofit board service.
