John is a conservation psychologist, architect, and educator. He was the founding President & CEO of Knology, serving in that role from 2012 to 2022. John is now Director of Mission Impact for the Alaska SeaLife Center in Seward, Alaska, and continues to collaborate with Knology as a Research Fellow. John is now returning to his research roots, focusing on community action for a regenerative ecology to heal both our natural and social worlds. John continues to be a frequent media commentator on the psychology of climate empowerment and participatory action research as a path to building more inclusive responses to our climate crisis. A Past President of the American Psychological Association’s Division 34: Society for Environment, Population, and Conservation Psychology, Fraser continues to serve as the Editor-in-Chief of Curator: The Museum Journal, is Series Editor for the Springer/Knology Psychology and Our Planet books, and is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association.
