Knology approaches wellbeing from a transdisciplinary perspective, examining all aspects of health from the personal to the institutional to the societal, and how these realms intersect. Our research explores the major factors that influence health attitudes, behaviors, and policies. To do so, we work with medical centers, public health workers, museums, libraries, and community health and social justice organizations to support both self-efficacy and a systems level approach to human health. We are particularly interested in the processes and intermediaries that can be leveraged to bring about wellbeing. When we think of health and wellbeing, several questions come to mind:
- How are health and illness experienced by diverse populations?
- How can the health-related choices people make encourage both individual and collective wellbeing?
- And how can society leverage wellbeing to build more equitable futures and a better world?
