Uduak Grace Thomas

Uduak is communications manager and a writer and editor at Knology. Previously, she was an editor at GenomeWeb where she generated news content for the company’s bioinformatics and computational biology channel and tracked industry and academic trends in these spaces. Her articles covered applications of software in the context of biomedicine and healthcare, with particular emphasis on using computational tools to analyze and interpret different kinds of “omic” data. She continues to write on these topics as a freelancer. Uduak has a Masters degree in Bioethics from New York University. Her thesis explored the use of stories to talk about difficult topics in healthcare and medicine. She is interested in topics at the intersection of science, medicine and health, social science, ethics, and literature.
